While we lived in Sacramento, I saw San Francisco in drizzle, fog, and sunshine. Loved it all. The photos in the next galleries were taken in every season over several years. The pictures in this gallery, taken near Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church/School,
were shot in fifteen minutes on a February day. The church is in North Beach on the north side of Washington Square. (Joe DiMaggio's first wedding was celebrated here.) During each visit I usually managed to get to North Beach - for the feel of the place and for the pasta.
Yes, even in August, the city can be chilly.But for the best of the best in weather, nothing can beat a sixty-eight degree day on a San Francisco hill with the air swept clean by an ocean breeze and the sun as bright as you'll ever see it.
